Once again; I try to give the attributes of Asturias the difussion they deserve, this time granting to the audience my particular invision of the Asturian bagpipe *related however to the "vielles" * , with the intention of giving a good time to the viewers and very specially to those people who feel and love this instrument of such deep tradition in our land.

The history of our marvelous instrument dates since the 13rd century, if well in the 14th century there were already professional pipers who companied religious processions.

Even altough nowadays bagpipes are suffering several modifications and evolutions both of shape and sound, they keep respecting the traditional lines they have been based on.

In order to create this piece, no third people's material has been used; this means, everything from my own.

I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do .
