Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.

Artist's Comments
This time I wanted to recreate a more familiar concept, represented in a subtle and non-evident surreal way like a couple of water drops in the woods with their offsprings.
I also wanted to grant the piece a touch of fantasy with the lighting input ad-hoc so it could retrieve a more festive and cheerful feel to it, complimented also with the bright glares I added inside the shadows. I hope everyone enjoys it; and of course, constructive criticism will be always greatly appreciated  . |
